As entrepreneurs we’re always looking to push ourselves to our limits. Building and running a business can be tiresome, energy-sapping work. However, starting the day off with a few energizing workouts every morning (and throughout the day) will not only improve your health, but also give you the energy necessary to tackle the challenges of the day. Let’s take a look at 5 energizing workouts for the enterprising entrepreneur.

Walking

Walking is a low impact exercise that will get the blood flowing throughout your body. I recommend starting off with thirty minutes a day before bumping it up as time goes on. Pop in an ebook to truly maximize your time. When you come back, you’ll be full of energy and ready to tackle the day’s obstacles.

Jogging

If you’re looking for a true energy boost while burning calories then you can take things up a notch by jogging. Not only will you be working out your bones and muscles, but you’ll also be strengthening your heart. Jogging is obviously more high-impact than walking, and you’ll definitely feel more tired out when you’re done, but after a cool down period, you’ll feel more energized than ever to take the day on without hesitation.

Dancing

Dancing is a fun and upbeat exercise routine to get your day started off on the right foot (literally). You can join a ballet, jazz, or hip-hop dance class and let go of your inhibitions and dance! Dancing is fun, social, and works out the body. As an added bonus, dancing also works out the brain because it forces you to memorize specific moves and steps. Dancing is beneficial on many levels, and it’s a valid exercise routine for any entrepreneur.

Yoga

With so many yoga routines floating around there’s a little bit of something for everybody. It doesn’t matter if you’re a pro or simply an amateur, you can find a yoga routine perfectly suited for your level. Yoga provides a medley of benefits — deep meditation to clear the mind, muscle strengthening and toning, deep breathing and more. Every entrepreneur could use some yoga in their lives. With a clear mind and an energized body, they’ll be well prepared for the day.

High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

I saved the most labor-intensive workout for last. High-intensity interval training is fairly new, and it requires the participant to burn as many calories as they can in a fairly short span of time. HIIT is more intense than your average cardio routine because it focuses on short intervals of exercise followed by short intervals of active rest before you do it all over again. If you’re serious about working up a sweat and getting in shape quickly, this is the workout routine for you.
